Andrew C. Sulowski has been working in fall protection and heights safety continuously since 1977.
Andrew has over 150 publications and presentations, including co-authoring and editing of the book "Fundamentals of Fall Protection", published in 1991 by ISFP. His latest book: "Fall-Arrest Systems - Practical Essentials", published in 2001 by CSA, is now available in French under the name "Systèmes de Protection Contre les Chutes: Notions Pratiques Essentials" (CSA, 2002). He holds four American and Canadian patents in fall protection equipment. Member of several professional associations and organizations including: P.E.O., A.N.S.I., A.S.S.E., C.S.A., I.S.O. Andrew's clients include Fortune 500 corporations. He is also advising staff of the Canadian Federal and Provincial safety agencies on fall protection. His experience as an expert witness includes U.S.A (primarily), Canada and the U.K. He is a co-founder and a Director of the International society for Fall Protection I.S.F.P. and a recipient of the H.A. Smith Award (Ontario Hydro), R.A. Phinnemore Award (C.S.A.O.) and Education and Training Award (I.S.F.P.) In 2003 the ISFP, based in Seattle, WA, established the "Andrew Sulowski Award for Excellence in Fall Protection". The Award was presented to Karl-Heinz Noetel of Germany during the 2003 ISFP Symposium held in Chicago, IL on September 11-12, 2003. |
